Golaem est une start-up co-fondée en 2009 par Patrice Le Moing, diplômé de l'EMBA (promo 2008). Située à Rennes, elle compte 9 personnes.
GOLAEM is a software company, editing various software solutions for the realistic simulation of individual and collective human behaviors.
Our solutions are particularly designed for covering the needs of the digital factory, offering a decision toolbox for
the industry: GOLAEM’s products are complementing PLM 3D tools with unprecedented, autonomous, goal-oriented
humanoids.
The GOALEM Software Suite covers components such as:
- GOALEM Motion: Real-time motion control of virtual humans
- GOLAEM Path: Complex path finding in 3D environments
- GOLAEM Behavior Pack: Extensible library of reactive behaviors
Incorporated in January 2009, winner of the very selective French National Enterprise Creation Competition, GOALEM employs a highly skilled
team (headcount 9), based in Rennes, France.
Pourquoi le nom GOLAEM (marque déposée) ?
Pour évoquer (notamment phonétiquement) le Golem, créature mythique anthropomorphe faite d'argile et à laquelle l'homme aurait eu le pouvoir de donner ou retirer la vie. Nous retiendrons qu'il s'agit d'une créature animée, constituée à partir de matière inanimée... c'est tout l'objet de notre société.
